New parent support & postpartum adjustment
Becoming a parent can be tender, disorienting and lonely all at once. You can love your baby deeply and still grieve the life, body and rhythm you had before.

What this can look like
- Anxiety, intrusive thoughts or a constant sense of being on alert
- Feeling flat, teary or disconnected from a baby you love
- Guilt for needing space, rest or help
- A birth or feeding experience that still sits heavy
- Tension with a partner or family about who carries what
How we'd work on it
- Space to say the things you're afraid sound ungrateful
- Practical tools for postpartum anxiety, sleep pressure and overwhelm
- Work on identity: who you were, who you are now, who you're becoming
- Naming what needs to change at home, and how to ask for it
What sessions feel like
We move at the pace your nervous system can handle, short, focused sessions when that's all you have, deeper work when there's room for it.
Everything is virtual, by video or phone, for teens and adults located in Ontario.

A few honest questions
- Is what I'm feeling postpartum depression, or just adjustment?
- You don't need a label to deserve support. If the early months feel heavier than you expected, that's reason enough to reach out, and we can sort out together what you're carrying.
- Can I bring my baby to sessions?
- Yes. Sessions are virtual, so your baby can be with you, feeding, napping or fussing. We work around real life, not despite it.
- What if I feel guilty even talking about this?
- Guilt is one of the most common things new parents bring into session. Saying the hard thing out loud doesn't make you a bad parent, it usually makes the hard thing smaller.
- Professional & caregiver burnoutYou're the reliable one. At work, at home, in your family. From the outside it looks like you're managing, inside, you're running on empty and quietly resentful about it.
- Trauma-informed, culturally responsive careTrauma shapes how safe the world feels in your body. You don't have to retell everything to be believed here, and you don't have to explain your culture before you can be understood.
- Life transitions, feeling stuck, starting freshSomething ended, or something needs to. You're between chapters, and the in-between is uncomfortable, even when the change is one you chose.
- Anxiety & overthinking, when your mind won't switch offYour mind is always three steps ahead, replaying conversations, bracing for what could go wrong. It's exhausting, and it's not a personality flaw.
- Relationships & communication, feeling heard and connectedThe same argument keeps coming back. Or you swallow what you need to say to keep the peace. Either way, you're tired of feeling unheard.
